Gregory D. Erwin is the Chairman and founder of the EHPV Management Group. Mr. Erwin maintains a number of business interests including a variety of real estate holdings, and ownership of a number of diverse operating businesses. Mr. Erwin received a BA in Economics from Grinnell College in Iowa, and was awarded his law degree summa cum laude from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Following graduation from law school, he was associated with Governor Thomas E. Dewey's law firm, Dewey Ballantine, in New York City. In 1973, Mr. Erwin joined the Kutak Rock law firm in Omaha as its chief securities lawyer and ninth partner. In 1985, Mr. Erwin became a co-founder of the America First Companies which raised equity capital in excess of $2,500,000,000. Mr. Erwin has been admitted to the practice of law in Nebraska, New York, Colorado, Maryland, Iowa and the District of Columbia.
Dan G. Pankow is the CEO and Managing Partner of EHPV. EHPV Management Group is a diversified group of companies that include EHPV Real Estate, Big Red Lottery, Big Red Restaurant and Sports Bar, and Payroll Maxx. All of the companies are managed out of the company’s headquarters located in Omaha Nebraska.

Our companies have grown and prospered by identifying unique needs in the market place and providing solutions. Dan Pankow is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln and he and his wife have 4 children. He has been with the companies and its predecessors for over 28 years. He and his Partners thoroughly enjoy the work and the challenges that go along with building companies from the ground floor into companies that occupy the top floor.
Gary L. Vander Woude, CPA is an actively licensed certified public accountant and a thirty-four year member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. As an officer and a member/partner of the EHPV Management Group (“EHPV”) and it’s predecessors for the past thirty years, Mr. Vander Woude has been responsible for all financial duties including financial reporting, planning and budgeting, all financial compliance and auditing matters, and all tax related compliance matters for all taxing jurisdictions. During these past years, the companies managed by EHPV have grown to more than 480 employees, annually processing more than $2 billion in payroll transactions, processing more than 50% of all the annual local option lottery transactions within the State of Nebraska, and serving nearly 850,000 hungry restaurant customers each year.
Mr. Vander Woude also served as Chief Financial Officer of Security Income Trust, a Kidder Peabody sponsored $18,000,000 Private Placement. The funds gathered were utilized to purchase eighteen security alarm companies, with some 28,000 customers, in the States of Michigan and Ohio. As the largest regional security alarm company, Security Income Trust became a consolidation target and was subsequently acquired by Protection One.
Prior to joining the EHPV group, Mr. Vander Woude was a five year employee of the international accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co., where Mr. Vander Woude specialized in audits and financial reporting of various publically traded companies. Mr. Vander Woude earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota, where he graduated with highest honors. He and his wife have two children and enjoy their ten grandchildren.
William F. Harvey, General Counsel, is a member/partner of EHPV Management Group and has been involved with the companies since 1993. Mr. Harvey manages all legal issues for EHPV Management Group. In that role, he works with others in the ownership group overseeing legal issues related to regulatory compliance, contracts, negotiations, government relations, lobbying, payroll, gaming, liquor, employment, tax, banking, insurance, real estate, and acquisitions.
Prior to his involvement with EHPV, Mr. Harvey was associated with the international law firm of Dixon & Dixon from 1989 to 1993, where he focused on bank regulatory, insurance regulatory and other governmental compliance issues. From 1988 to 1989, Mr. Harvey served as law clerk to the Honorable Thomas M. Shanahan, at that time a judge of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
Mr. Harvey is a graduate of the Creighton University School of Law (JD, Magna Cum Laude, 1988), and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (BSBA, Magna Cum Laude, 1985). He is admitted to the bar in Nebraska and Colorado, as well as Supreme Court of the United States. He is rated “AV® Preeminent™ 5.0 out of 5” by the Martindale-Hubbell® peer-review rating system for meeting the highest standards of legal ability and ethics. Mr. Harvey was an editor of the Gulf War Claims Reporter published by the International Law Institute and he has also been published in the Creighton Law Review. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Omaha, where he is a member of the Board, several committees, a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, and Club President for 2017-18. He also serves on various committees for Rotary District 5650. He has served on the boards of a number of local charities. He and his wife Gretchen, who is also an attorney, are the proud parents of a daughter who is a school teacher and son who an accountant.
Deanna L. Stott joined EHPV Management Group in 2014 with over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. While attending the University of Northern Iowa with the intent of a career in elementary education, an unexpected career path change landed her in the world of medical practice management in both private physician practices and hospital owned clinical settings.
Due to her prior experience in those fields, she brings a unique perspective to EHPV Management Group as the Director of Human Resources. Deanna is responsible for coordination of all aspects of Human Resources including benefits administration, policy development, maintaining state and federal compliance, and coordination of employee records, relations & compensation.
Deanna is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and HRAM. She and her husband have two sons and five grandchildren.
